Jon Kevin Gossett, ACFRE

Jon Kevin Gossett has more than 25 years of fundraising experience and is recognized for repeatedly leading development organizations in setting records in amounts raised and enabling nonprofits to significantly increase their scope of services provided.He has staffed major capital campaigns for opera, theater, public media, public policy, healthcare, and historic preservation. 

In 2007, Jon received Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive certification (ACFRE), the 77th professional internationally to qualify for designation. Gossett’s most recent position was chief development officer for Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Previously, he served as the chief advancement officer at the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  

Jon has served as vice president and chief development officer of St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System/president of the St. Luke’s Foundation in Houston. Gossett also held positions as senior vice president of development at American Public Media Group/Minnesota Public Radio; executive director of development at Houston Grand Opera Association/executive vice president of Houston Grand Opera Endowment; and chief development officer at the Guthrie Theater Foundation in Minneapolis, MN.

Jon Gossett holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Business Administration from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and a Masters of Arts degree in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
